Questions About the Home Buying Process

  • Are you buying my home or simply listing it on the MLS?

The best part about working with us is that we're not a traditional real estate agency. We buy homes to fix them up and resell them, which may involve the MLS at that point, but we would have already personally purchased the home from you in order to fix it up and resell it.

  • How do I know you are giving me a fair offer for my home?

That's a great question and one that causes the most concern with sellers. We have a specific formula that we use in order to calculate the fair market value of your home in its current condition and we go into detail about that formula here.

  • How do you figure out the offer amount?

We have a specific formula that we use that takes into account many different factors, one of them being the current state of the home. To learn more about that formula, visit this page.

  • What other fees should I be expecting?

That is the best part of selling your home with us - there are no other fees!

You do not pay any real estate commissions, service fees, or closing costs when you sell to us.

  • What sets you apart from a real estate agent?

Real estate agents typically have you sign a contract with them to sell your property and then list your home on the MLS and other marketing channels.  This traditional process is often long and stressful, including 3rd party inspectors, appraisals, contigencies, loans, and you do not work directly with the buyers.  Also, you will pay real estate commissions and closing costs.  Selling to a professional home buyer like us, the process is greatly simplified and shortened as you work directly with us, the buyer, and there are no commissions or closing costs for you to pay.

  • Are there any obligations?

Filling out a form and getting in touch with us comes with no obligations, and you will NOT feel any pressure to sell to us.  We give you as much time as you need to make the decision that is right for you. Even if you're unsure about the process, what do you have to lose?
